Site instability/downtimes

First of all i want to appologise to SaiyaMan himself for going ahead with this on my own. But i just couldn't reach him at all.
I've now basically re-implemented the server install from scratch. and restored it to original form to get rid of all the rootkits. And i'm now hardening the security from the bottom up to make sure it works great for the users and visitors of this site.
My applogies to all affected by these events lately. hopefully it all should work a lot better from now on.
I'm gonna make sure to get in touch with SaiyaMan to discuss what we need to do in order to improve it further.

Tabbed skin and new mod

With new forum new mod and new skin installed:
+ Tabbed skin
The categories will be tabbed and tabbed will be cookied.
So if you select a tab and close the browser adn when you return it will return to your previous tab.
Very convinience for one language-user (ie) malay only or japanese one or english only user.
Cleaner Interface.
+ Autoparse youtube url
No more to bother to input utube tag.
It automagically parse the inserted URL and if it youtube url it will convert it into utube tag in spoiler tag.

will be converted to
CODE [spoiler][utube]BgHfcO0gaog[/utube][/spoiler]
+ Autoparse Stage6 url
Same as youtube, instead it for DivX Stage6

will be converted to

Forum upgraded

OK, I like to announce that we successfully upgraded our forum to latest version.
Some old mod no working
some mebe cause problem when editing old post. Esp. spoiler and utube
both need to reinput.

Since we already upgraded our server, we also like to upgrade IP.Board (Invision Power Board) in other word, the forum software that we used. The software seem suffering with many problem, due to mods and server update. The latest version 2.3.x cost 149.99 USD, stupidly double the previous version price.

Server reload finished
|
|

Today I just managed to reload all backup, including forum, BT page, gallery and tracker.
It seem running fine. May be still need some tweaking to make it smoother. But for this moment, I satisfied.
Due to most of software updated (at least to Dapper level) some script may have some compatibility problem. If you happened to find any problem. Please report here.

Server Reload

I will perform OS reload soon (this weekend or next week) depend on my free time. This will lead to downtime for couple day for backup and reformat, reinstall and reload the backup.
Everything, tracker, forum, BT page, gallery will down and inaccessible during that time.
I'll make new announcement just before taking the server down.

Savvis IDC Networking Issues
|
|
|
I got word from ISP that SAVVIS doing unscheduled maintenance. This will caused all server on the SAVVIS network down, or inaccessible from certain area of the world. Hope they will resolve it soon.
Tracker, site and forum will be affected.
